You are invited to join Twin Cities area alumni and friends for a Zoom conversation on the priorities of the School of Business and Technology, including career services, new pathways for graduate business students and the Hoffman Adducci Brother Charles Building Project with Dr. Michelle Weiser, Ph.D., dean of the School of Business and Technology and Jim Bedtke, M.B.A., vice president for Facilities. 

  

Dr. Wieser has been a leader within many professional and community organizations. She has served on the Board of the MBA Career Services and Employer Alliance, the Forté Foundation, and Minnesota Women in Marketing and Communications. She is an active member of the National Association of Women MBAs, Women’s Health TRUST, Network of Executive Women, and the National Speakers’ Association. She was recently selected by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal to join a region-wide leadership group called “Women to Know.”

James (Jim) Bedtke has worked at Saint Mary’s University for nearly 37 years and has held many positions.  He taught in the Business Administration Department, assisted in designing several graduate programs and initiated the international study program. Jim served as chair of the Undergraduate Faculty; he was dean of the School of Business and associate vice president for Academic Affairs. Jim served as associate provost and vice president for the Schools of Graduate and Professional Programs. During his tenure, Jim has overseen the acquisition and remodeling of several buildings on the Twin Cities and Winona campuses. He was responsible for planning and overseeing the construction of Brother Leopold Hall, Brother William Hall, and the Science and Learning Center on the Winona campus. Jim is married to Maribeth (Latterell) Bedtke CST'72.
