Testimonial from 2018 Participants

A friendship that started over 30 years ago as college classmates led us to embark on a life changing experience. The Nairobi, Kenya Service Trip through the Saint Mary’s Alumni Association was a challenging, rewarding and simultaneously fun adventure. Meeting and spending time with our fellow Kenyan alumni who are living the LaSallian values we learned at Saint Mary’s was truly humbling and enlightening. Experiencing first hand the challenges that the Kenyan children and parents overcome on a daily basis was remarkable and being able to make a difference in their lives, no matter how small, was very rewarding. In addition to the incredible experiences with the Kenyan people & culture, we met people on the trip that we consider lifelong friends. We will forever have an incredible shared experience.
