Saint Mary's University Welcomes Parents to Get Involved

Saint Mary's University and the Parents Association welcome parental participation on our campus in various ways. From attending an activity or event to volunteering, parents and guardians are an important part of the Saint Mary's family. Hope to see you on campus soon!

Ways to Participate

Saint Mary's Parents Association is always looking for members to serve on the board and help guide the University in its decisions and encourage participation and support among the greater Saint Mary's community. A Parents Association Board Member is required to participate in three meetings per year, with occasional additional activities if desired. The Parents Association Board Member Responsibilities (PDF) document outlines the role and Board procedures to a greater extent.

If you are interested in volunteering or participating in any way, please fill out this volunteer application form.

The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota Parents Association has a Parents Calendar of Events (PDF) specific to the Board and parent-related events and activities. Parents and guardians are invited to participate in all activities listed.

Parents and community members are welcome to attend many activities, events and services on the Saint Mary's Winona campus, and/or involving Saint Mary's students around the region. A full list of activities, events and services can be found on the following calendars:

The Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Cardinal Admission Network (CAN) Program provides an important link between prospective students all over the country and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota campus. This is a voluntary program involving Saint Mary’s alumni, parents, and faculty/staff in the recruitment of prospective students, by sharing YOUR story. Learn more about how to get involved.
