Join us for the President's Roundtable

The President’s Roundtable gathers twice annually, bringing together Winona-area business and community leaders for networking and conversation.

Please join me for our upcoming roundtable, which will take place virtually this fall. During our time together, I will share an update on our strategic plan. Dr. Todd Reinhart, Dean of Sciences and Health Professions, will share information about the launch of our Collaborative Suite of Nursing Programs, including an undergraduate B.S. in nursing, which will be housed in the renovated Adducci Science Center on the Winona Campus beginning fall of 2021.

I am grateful for your continued willingness, as a valued community partner, to share your insights and your time with us. I look forward to connecting with you.

Rev. James P. Burns, IVD, Ph.D.

Prior to earning his Doctor of Science degree in cancer biology from Harvard University’s School of Public Health, Dr. Reinhart received his bachelor’s degree from Hamline University. Additionally, he served as a research associate and conducted postdoctoral work at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Highlights of his 20-year career in education include doubling master’s student enrollment, and establishing and leading a research program on HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases that achieved more than $7 million in federal funding.

Dr. Reinhart joined Saint Mary’s in 2015 with the charge to advance the future of science and health professions at Saint Mary’s. The latest initiative in realizing this vision is a new Collaborative Nursing Suite to respond to the future healthcare needs in our region.
