Student Engagement

Cardinals Connecting Cardinals is a student led organization that aims to connect current students with Alumni of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Members of the CCC will build connections with Saint Mary’s Alumni, run events with undergraduate students on campus, promote philanthropy and be a leader among fellow students.

Goals

  • Create excitement, raise awareness and celebrate the impact alumni and benefactors have on Saint Mary's University through engaging activities for students.
  • Facilitate conversations between alumni and current students as they navigate their time on campus and preparing for post graduation.
  • Engage the undergraduates with meaningful conversation around philanthropy. 
  • Provide opportunities for professional development that will prepare students for future endeveours. 
  • Enable students to have a greater impact on the Office of Advancement and the University as a whole.

CCC Committees

  • Alumni Relations | Chair: Hanna Widdes 
    • Alumni Relations committee will work to bring meaningful connection between alumni and current students. 
  • Student Engagement | Chair: Grace Howard
    • Student Engagement committee will lead events on campus that will educate and build a connection between the importance of alumni, philanthropy, and the Office of Advancement. 
  • Philanthropy | Chair:
    • Philanthropy Committee will lead educational and philanthropic efforts throughout the academic year, working closely with alumni relations and student engagement committees.
