Mary Jacobs, MA, is the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs and the MBA Program Director at Saint Mary's University. She has worked in higher education for 10 years and prior to joining Saint Mary’s, she was Director of Center for Sales Innovation at St. Kate's University for eight years where she oversaw the B2B and Healthcare Sales majors, facilitated the Sales Executive Forum and managed the professional development program.
In her corporate career, Mary was a sales leader in the airline industry for 19 years at Northwest/Delta Airlines and worked for Deluxe Corporation.
Mary speaks on the topic of Closing the Confidence Gap-Getting Comfortable Selling Yourself and Sales Strategies for Women Entrepreneurs, Successfully Transitioning from Employee to Entrepreneur. In 2020, she spoke on the topic of starting a business during the pandemic and was a guest speaker on national radio, tv and podcasts. She is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and has her own practice, The Women’s Excelerator.

Mary has been a facilitator with SCORE for 15 years and teaches cohorts of women who are starting business with a focus on sales acumen and confidence. She is a member of Diana International Research Institute (DIRI) at Babson College. The organization includes educators and researchers focused on teaching, policy and practice for women entrepreneurs.
She is a Board member of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST and Programming Co-Chair. She was previously Chair of the Board of the Alzheimer’s Association in Seattle.
